Total Sales Representative
Position Summary
American Sign & Lighting is seeking a high-performing Total Sales Representative to drive new business growth by building relationships with commercial decision-makers across the United States.
This is a full-cycle outbound sales role — from first contact to closed account. You will proactively identify and engage facility managers, property managers, and commercial operators to introduce our exterior lighting and signage maintenance services. Every day, you will own your pipeline, make high-volume outbound calls, and convert prospects into long-term revenue-generating clients.
This position is built for sales professionals who are driven by results, comfortable with structure, and energized by the challenge of building something from scratch through consistent, disciplined outreach.
What You’ll Do
• Make 100+ outbound calls per day to commercial decision-makers across the U.S.
• Build and nurture relationships with facility managers and property managers
• Introduce American Sign & Lighting’s exterior lighting and signage maintenance services
• Identify client maintenance needs and convert prospects into first-service work orders
• Manage a full sales pipeline from cold outreach through account activation
• Follow up consistently and persistently until prospects become customers
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of all calls, conversations, and follow-ups in the CRM
• Participate in video check-ins and team meetings during standard business hours
• Contribute to team performance reporting and pipeline updates
Performance Expectations
Your performance will be tracked daily. Key metrics include:
• 100+ outbound calls completed per day
• Consistent pipeline growth and active follow-up on all open leads
• New customer accounts generated through first service work orders
• CRM fully updated and documented daily — no exceptions
• Steady revenue contribution through new client acquisition
All calls, CRM activity, and computer activity are monitored. This is a high-accountability role where your daily work is visible to the team.
Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position with structured daily hours, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time. You are expected to be fully present and reachable during these hours — just as you would be in an office.

• Camera and video setup suitable for professional video meetings
• Dedicated quiet workspace free from background noise and interruptions
• Clear, professional spoken and written English communication
You must be available for video meetings during working hours and be comfortable with daily activity monitoring, including calls, CRM usage, and screen activity.

Qualifications
Experience
• 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or new business development
• Demonstrated track record of generating new clients and driving revenue growth
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with consistent follow-through
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills
• Strong organizational skills and CRM discipline — daily, thorough documentation required
• Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, or equivalent)
• Highly self-motivated, persistent, and resilient
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent output within a team structure
• Excellent written and spoken English
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred — not required
Required Sales Portfolio
All applicants should be prepared to provide documented evidence of past sales performance. This may include a portfolio, performance summary, or written results. Examples include:
• Revenue generated in previous roles
• Number of new accounts acquired
• Quota attainment or achievement records
• Sales metrics, rankings, or performance reviews
Compensation
• Base salary commensurate with experience and location
• Commission on revenue generated from new customers
• Commission begins once revenue generated exceeds base salary threshold
• High performers have significant earning potential through uncapped commission
